AMC Mayor Deepak Majumder initiates anti encroachment drive in various place of Agartala

Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumder has continued to inspect various aspects including development of drainage system of Agartala.

On Friday, Mayor Deepak Majumder visited the area adjacent to Tulsibati School, Shakuntala Road.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday noon, Mayor said “the water was logged for few hours in the last heavy shower took place in Agartala city few days ago. The reason for water-logging was investigated and reached to a conclusion that most of the shopkeepers and business establishments had covered the drains by constructing concrete slabs which are immovable.”

He was accompanied by Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, Commissioner, AMC, and Ratna Dutta, Corporator.
