Amit shah addresses prista pramukhs meeting and rejuvenates to work for progress

On Saturday morning, BJP National President Amit Shah reached Agartala, the capital of Tripura, from New Delhi. Right from here, Shah has left for helicopter to offer prayers to Maata Tripureshwari in her temple.

Later, He came back to the capital Agartala and addressed a massive Pristha Pramukh meeting organized at Agartala Astabal Maidan.

Shah who is currently on a tour of the country in the context of the upcoming loksabha elections chose Tripura as the launching pad for his poll campaign.

In the Pristha Pramukh meeting held today 42 thousand Pristha Pramukh of the BJP were present.

It is believed that the BJP President launch the campaign for the Lok Sabha elections in the state through this meeting.

In this Pristha Pramukh meeting, BJP President Shah accompanied by National General Secretary Ram Madhav, Tripura in-charge Sunil Deodhar, North-East BJP organization minister Ajay Jamwal, Assam’s influential minister and Naida convener Dr. Himanta Vishwasarma,
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb along with other ministers of Tripura were also present.

Addressing a huge rally in the ‘Vibekananda Maidan’ Shah said that ”
the people of the state had overcome fear, fear of community and politics of murder.

BJP National President Amit Shah said that the BJP-IPFT government will transform Tripura within the tenure of its five years.

He said that the previous CPI(M) government had deliberately deprived the state’s royal family of their due recognition and honour but the BJP led governments in Centre and state have done so by renaming Agartala airport as ‘Maharaja Bir Bikram’ airport.

Listing the achievements of the Modi-led government in Centre Shah said that since Modi had sanctioned minimum support price (MSP) 50 thousand KGs of rice was being sold in Tripura through FCI. ‘Atal Jal Mission is being implemented, relief has been obtained for 10,323 teachers, law and order has improved considerably, gas is being distributed through Ujjwala Yojana and AGMC is being further developed and a science city will be built.

‘The CPI (M) government did nothing for the development of the poor in Tripura but the BJP led central government has ensured ‘Mudra Loan’ for 13 crore youths` while there will be a coverage of 5 lakh crore for ‘Anushashan Bharat Yojana’ said Amit Shah.
