Amit Shah, JP Nadda laud state units for victory in Tripura bypolls

BJP president J P Nadda on Friday said that the results of the Tripura bypolls indicate public support the state’s double-engine government’s development initiatives.

Through the BJP’s X (formerly Twitter) account, he congratulated Chief Minister Manik Saha, dedicated BJP workers in Tripura and State President Rajib Bhattacharjee for their significant victories in the Boxanagar and Dhanpur by-elections, which were won with a substantial majority.

Nadda further said that the result shows the people’s approval of the developmental works carried out by the BJP’s double engine government under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

On X, Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the people of Tripura, acknowledging their role in the BJP’s success in the Boxanagar and Dhanpur assembly by-elections.

He emphasized that this victory would reinforce their commitment to developing Tripura into a prosperous state under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Amit Shah also congratulated Chief Minister Manik Saha, State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee, and the party’s dedicated workers for this remarkable win.

Notably, BJP candidates have defeated their CPIM rivals in Dhanpur and Boxanagar Assembly constituencies and won with comfortable margin.
The total seats of ruling BJP’s tally increased to 33 in the 60-member Tripura Assembly.
