Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address two election rallies in Tripura today ahead of the assembly election on 16th February.
Today Home Minister Shah will address two election rallies at Khowai in Khowai district and Santirbazar in South Tripura district.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, Yuva Morcha State president Nabadal Banik and some other key members visited Santir Bazar and Khowai on Saturday to review the preparations in these venues for the two election rallies.
He will also join a road show in Agartala city on Monday, the senior party leader said.
Security arrangements in Agartala have been intensified in view of the road show to be addressed by Shah.
Notably, the Home Minister Shah visited Tripura on January 5 and initiated two Rath Yatras, poll campaign for the assembly elections, one from Dharmanagar in North Tripura and another from Sabroom in South Tripura..
Meanwhile, party sources highlighted that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will also come to Tripura on February 7 to attend BJP’s election campaign.
