Animesh Debbarma slams govt for hike in power tariff

A lot of large-scale road construction work is going on in the state. These works are being done by out-of-state construction companies.

Why won’t the contractors and laborers of state get work in this place. Opposition leader Animesh Debvarma raised this question by calling a press conference on Sunday.

He said that the economy of the state will be strong if the contract workers of the state get work and the state government must think about it.

After presenting several issues in the press conference, the opposition party leader questioned why he did not get government quarters even after six months.

He remarked, “The former opposition leader is still getting government quarters, but I have not got what I deserve.”

He slammed the power department for increasing the tariff of electricity.

“What is the service of Power Department? Every where load shedding is increasing.

The government has increased the tariff of power, the power department should explain to the people why this tariff tariff rate was increased.
