Anti narcotic raid at Block Tilla under Damcherra PS

On 23-10-2021 night, based on information SDPO, Panisagar along with O/C Damcherra PS & staff conducted anti narcotic raid at Block Tilla under Damcherra PS.

During raid police seized total 54 gm Heroin contained in 08 nos plastic pouch, Cash Rs.600/- (Six hundred only) & 01 (one) Auto Rickswa bearing registration No. AS10AC 5855.

During raid 02(two) accused persons Md Sahid Ahamed S/O Md Jalal Uddin & Md Khalil Uddin S/O Md Surman Ali both of Hatairbond PS Bazaricherra Dist. Karimganj, Assam have been arrested.

In this regard a specific case under NDPS Act has been registered at Damcherra PS. Investigation is in progress.
