ARDD minister attend in review meeting in Khowai District; The present govt has taken initiatives to make the state self-reliant in animal feed production

Animal Resource Development Minister Sudhanshu Das attended a review meeting of the Scheduled Tribe Welfare, Animal Resource Development and Fisheries Department on Thursday.

At the Khowai District Administration Conference Hall, in the review meeting, Minister Das said, “The present government has taken initiatives to make the state self-reliant in animal feed production. For this, various programs are being implemented through the Department of Animal Resources Development. These programs should reach the real beneficiaries.”

In the meeting, various development programs of concerned departments were reviewed in Khowai district.

Minister Das said that the projects of Animal Resource Development, Fisheries and Scheduled Caste Welfare Departments undertaken for public welfare should be implemented with transparency.

He also said that fisheries and animal husbandry have an important role in the economic development of the state.
