ARDD Minister attends in review meeting at Dharmanagar; Calls For Self-Reliance In Animal Feed Production

“Initiatives have been taken to make the state self-reliant in animal feed production. To implement this initiative of the government, the officials of the concerned departments have to work with more responsibility to increase the production of fish, meat, eggs and milk in the state.”

Fisheries and Animal Resource Development Minister Sudhanshu Das said this at a review meeting of the Department of Fisheries, Animal Resource Development and Scheduled Caste Welfare in Dharmanagar in North Tripura district on Thursday.

This review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister Sudhanshu Das in the meeting room of District Magistrate’s office of North Tripura district.

He said, “Officials must have a positive mindset while working. Transparency should also be maintained in project implementation.”

In the meeting, the programs implemented by the Fisheries, Animal Resources Development and Scheduled Tribes Department in the North Tripura district and the future work plans of the departments were reviewed.

Fisheries Minister Sudhanshu Das said that Fisheries Department has an important role in the development of rural economy.
