Benchmark success is being achieved in building a self-reliant Tripura: CM

The government has been taking various steps to build a self-reliant Tripura. Benchmark success is being observed in government’s efforts in this regard, stated Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb after officially launching the marketing of natural honey produced by Khadi and Village Industries Beani at the Secretariat yesterday.

Chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Board Rajib Bhattacharjee and CEO Rajesh Das presented natural honey and a shawl with Matahari printed on it hoth produced by Khadi and Village Industries Bourd Speaking to the press the Chief Minister and, these are the example of all the initiatives taken by the state government for building self-reliant Tripura.

As a result, many youths have become self-dependent and are also creating employment opportunities for others.

He said, now Tripura is becoming known to international markets for its hottles, cookies and hats made of bamboo and for queen and kew variety of pineapples.

He called upon the board to continuethese kinds of initiatives. Chief Minister yesterday also launched a leaflet of Pradhan Mantri Karma SansthanUtpadak Karyakram of Khadi and Village Industries Board.

In this regard, the Chief Minister said that loans upto 25 lacs are available in easy instalments for jobless youths to help them become self-reliant Reneficiaries of all categories can avail 30% subsidy under this.
