The benefits of various central projects implemented for the welfare of the people should be conveyed to the people quickly. The implementing departments and agencies have to play a leading role, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb at a review meeting.

The concerned departments and agencies have to play a leading role, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb at a review meeting of the State Level Direction Committee at Room No. 2 of the Secretariat.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the progress of various central projects implemented in the state.

He emphasized on adopting future action plan for implementation of central projects of public interest. He said that the central projects which have already been completed and the development works which are currently underway in the state should be brought in the spotlight.

He said the work of various central projects implemented in the state should be regularly supervised by the concerned department.

This will increase the quality of work as well as the longevity of the resources created.
