Trinamool Congress now planned to send Bengali actor and TMC MP Dev to Tripura.

“To create more mass connect the TMC will send Dev to Tripura,” said TMC sources.

The TMC cadres and workers were seen tying Rakhi to the policemen in Tripura.

Bengals top Trinomool leaders led the programme in Tripura. The TMC cadres and workers were seen tying Rakhi to the normal men as well as to the policemen in Tripura.

The TMC has been trying to make inroads into Tripura since 2008 but has been unsuccessful.

Encouraged by its landslide victory in West Bengal, TMC is now eying BJP-ruled Tripura with Abhishek Banerjee and several ministers and MPs frequently visiting the state since last month to build the organisation.
