Biplab Deb critices CPIM CONG alliance; says Final Journey’ of CPI(M) from Tripura

The formation of an alliance between the Left Front and the Congress ahead of the 2023 Tripura Assembly elections became clear on Friday night.

Tripura Congress in-charge Dr. Ajay Kumar visited CPM’s state headquarters at the Melarmath in Agartala on Friday night.

Due to the presence of the Congress leadership in CPIM headquarters at Melarmath, political observers believe that the Left Front and the Congress will contest the election in an alliance in the 2023 election.

Time will tell what the seat sharing will be between the two parties. However, the former chief minister of the state and now MP Biplab Kumar Deb slammed these two parties on the Left-Congress alliance issue on Saturday.

He taunted the Left Congress alliance and said, “It is nothing new. On Friday it came in public directly”. Biplab Kumar Deb strongly attacked the Congress and said that because of this alliance, the Congress leaders will have to publicly atone before the people of Tripura.

He further said that the Congress had a role behind the 25 years long tenure of communist government in this state.

Congress gave its historic proof on Friday.
Taking a dig at CPIM, Biplab Kumar Deb said that it is the last journey of CPIM.
He added, “There is a principle in politics, there is morality. But this Left Congress alliance was formed by abandoning morality”.
