The 2023 Tripura assembly election is coming around the year due to which the mercury of state politics is rising across the state.
Political conflict is happening in many areas.
Recently political clashes between the ruling and opposition camps were observed in Bishalgarh and Charilam.
Again a political conflict between the CPIM and the BJP took place at Beltali in Singichara of Khowai district on Wednesday afternoon.
It is reported that a total of 12 BJP workers and supporters were injured in the clash.
Among them, Gopal Paul, Santosh Das and Sanjay Nath Sharma were sent to GB hospital from Khowai District Hospital.
BJP’s Khowai Mandal President Subrata Majumder said that BJP Youth Morcha workers were doing their campaign in Singichara area on Wednesday to implement the “Ghar Ghar BJP” programme.
BJP’s Khowai Mandal President Subrata Majumder alleged that the CPM miscreants suddenly broke the security cordon with rods, sticks and bricks and attacked the BJP workers during the rally.
Meanwhile, the CPM leader Pabitra Kar alleged that the rally was attacked by BJP miscreants.
A large number of security forces including local police and CRPF were present in the adjacent areas during the incident.
It has been alleged that CPM workers started shouting slogans against the BJP workers in front of the security forces.
Thus, questions have already started to arise how and why this incident happened on this day even after presence of sufficient security forces.
Major questions have also started to arise from the concerned area about the role of Police.
Local witnesses alleged that the police played the role of silent spectators on this day.
The people of the local area also feel that if the police had taken the necessary steps on time then this clash could have been avoided.
