Speaking in a press conference at CPI (M) headquarters in Agartala on Friday evening, CPI (M) state secretary Bijan Dhar told that in the first week of November party will organize another meeting to finalize the date and venue of the proposed state conference, which is supposed to be held on December or in January next.
Dhar said “BJP has failed to take actions for fulfilling pre-poll promises whichever promise it tried to materialize was nothing but JUMLA“.
However, giving detail on one day state committee meeting, Dhar said that meeting started with tributes to one teacher Anima Das of Ambassa, who among 10,323 was murdered by BJP supporters recently and now death toll of CPI(M) martyred stand at five after formation of BJP-IPFT government.
“A suffocating environment prevails across the state and since inception of coalition government, the democratic and fundamental rights of opposition supporters are being suppressed”,said Dhar
