Bollywood actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty held a massive roadshow in the Majlishpur Assembly constituency in the presence of local MLA Sushanta Chowdhury ahead of the Tripura assembly election.
Addressing the public gathering, he said that BJP has done good work across the north-eastern state and claimed that the party will again come into power.
The actor said that BJP was never anti-minority and the party wants the betterment of Indian Muslims.
West Bengal BJP vice president Dilip Ghosh and West Bengal BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari also joined Mithun Chakraborty for poll campaigning.
While campaigning, Adhikari claimed that the BJP party is not anti-Muslim. On the other hand, other big faces of BJP, namely party president JP Nadda and BJP leader Smriti Irani held their public meetings and rallies in the state along with Tripura CM Manik Saha.
Smriti Irani campaigned in Nalchar constituency and Town Bardowali constituency.
Electrifying campaign of BJP is going across the state of Tripura and will continue till February 13, as the assembly election is on 16th February.
