CPIM Politbureau member and former CM on Sunday in an election campaign in Agartala said that democracy, human rights and economy are in danger under this BJP Government.
He added that they (BJP) are in fear and therefore, they have chosen the way of terror.
Manik Sarkar said alleged BJP tortured the common people during last five years but now drumming about development.
He added that the misrule of BJP in the last five years has brought the CPIM and the Congress together.
The former CM said, “Loot is going on everywhere. But people are now ready to give a befitting reply to them”.
CPIM called all secular and democratic forces to join hands to oust the BJP from power in the state. Manik Sarkar said, “We have got a positive response from Congress and one more party to restore democracy in the North Eastern state”.
He added although Tripura is a small state, CPIM feels that the defeat of the BJP in the state will go a long way in the national fight against the BJP and the RSS.
