Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off 2 Rathas as part of Jana Biswas Yatra on January 5, which are approaching Agartala.
Various senior party leaders of the BJP including Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha are participating in the yatra.
Leaders from other states also started arriving to join the official poll campaign of BJP.
It is reported that Locket Chatterjee, MP from West Bengal has already arrived while Himanta Biswa Sharma, the Chief Minister of Assam will arrive on January 9.
Besides, opposition leader of West Bengal Suvendu Adhikari and Union Minister Kiran Rijiju will arrive at Tripura on January 10.
Megastar Mithun Chakraborty and Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will come on January 11.
BJP national president JP Nadda will conclude the Jana Biswas Yatra on January 12.
Meanwhile, while addressing the yatra at Kumarghat on Saturday, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said the large gathering beside Rathas indicates that the BJP is going to return into power for another term.
He added that people will give a befitting reply to the opposition, who are trying to create a disturbance in the state.
