Former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb had left Tripura a few days back to meet BJP National President J.P. Nadda to discuss the strategy for upcoming by-elections at 4 constituencies.
It is reported that they also discusses about the current situation of Tripura and strategy for upcoming 2023 polls.
The grassroot workers are worried about the absence of the former CM Biplab Kumar Deb as they believe election campaigns could not be done without him.
Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, one of three observers (prabharis) for the by-elections in Tripura came to Tripura on Thursday.
The observers organized a meeting with all key workers and understood the present situation.
During the meeting, they called the former CM to discuss the strategy for upcoming by-elections.
Workers interacted with Biplab Deb throughout the call. Chief Minister Manik Saha and Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said that campaigning for by-elections is impossible without Biplab Deb.
Former CM said he will return to Tripura on 6th June.
