The board examinations of class 10th and class 12th of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) started across the country from Friday.
Around 39 lakh students are giving exams in above 7,250 examination centers of India.
Besides, CBSE board exams are also being held in 26 countries outside India .
Exams started at 10.30 am and end at 12.30 pm and for some subjects at 1.30 pm.
Notably, 34 lakh candidates appeared in the CBSE 10th, 12th board exams last year.
Around 21,86,940 students appear in CBSE 10th Board Exams this year, among which around 12,47,364 are boys and 9,39,566 are girls.
On the other hand, around 16,96,770 students appear in the CBSE 12th board exams, among which 9,51,332 are boys and 7,45,433 are girls.
