Central and state governments have taken various steps for the development of agriculture and the welfare of farmers.
The government has taken various initiatives to train farmers and make them skilled in using scientific farming methods.
Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Pranjit Singha Ray said this while inaugurating the newly constructed building of Agri Maket Shed at Dashamighat in Ambasa, 100 MT Capacity Fertilizer and Seed Warehouse in Salema, Salema Farmer Advisory Center and Kachuchhara Primary Rural Maket Shed.
The Agriculture Minister interacted with the farmers at the opening ceremony in Kachuchara.
During the exchange of views, the Agriculture Minister highlighted all the programs undertaken by the State Government for the welfare of farmers.
At the inauguration ceremony in Salema, Agriculture Minister said, “our state is dependent on agriculture. The economy will develop only if agriculture develops. Therefore, the government has given the highest priority to the development of agriculture”.
