The central government is working seriously to create Swachh Bharat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid emphasis on building a Swachh Bharat and a healthy India.
Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Kaushal Kishore said this while inaugurating the Tertiary Waste Processing Center at Bashpadua in Rishyamukh Block on Friday.
After the inauguration, the Union Minister of State visited the processing center and planted a Nageshwar sapling in front of the centre.
South Tripura Zila Nath, Secretary to the Union Minister of State MV Singh, Urban Development Department Director Rajat Pant and others were present on the occasion. Nikhil Chandra Gop, chairperson of Belonia Municipal Council , presided over the opening ceremony.
Ratan Bhowmik, CEO of Belonia Municipal Council gave the welcome speech.
This Tertiary Waste Processing Center has been constructed under the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban project.
2 crore 14 lakh 63 thousand rupees have been spent for this.
Degradable and non-degradable materials will be segregated in this centre.
Moreover, organic fertilizers will also be made from the decomposed matter.
