Hon’ble Chief Minister holds meeting with Union Finance Minister, Shri Arun Jaitley in New Delhi; FM assures financial support for development of Tripura

Later in the day, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Biplab Kumar Deb called on Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley in New Delhi. Hon’ble Union Finance Minister appreciated the energy and vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister in securing the financial interests of the State of Tripura and its citizens. During the meeting the following issues were extensively discussed:

1. Grant of another Rs 750 crores in continuation of the Rs 750 crores sanctioned on 28.09.2018.

2. Rs 358 crores grant to complete 81 unfinished projects under SPA.

Hon’ble Finance Minister assured the continuing support of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India to the State of Tripura.
