On 02 Nov 2018, from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM, a Civic Action Programme was organised in area of responsibility of BOP Chitabari, 31 Bn BSF at J B School, Chitabari, in presence of Shri Ram Pal Singh, Commandant, 31 Bn BSF and other unit personnel along with Gram Pradhan, Harbatoli, Head Master, J B School and village members.
Total approx. 110 people including 60 students and 50 villagers were in attendence. The Civic Action Program ,was meant to renovate School premises with added security measures, carried out on the request of school authorities, to provide better secure environment, to our Children, hope &future of state. BSF accomplished and handed over perimeter fence with 02 Nos gates &dog stopper mesh,in School perimeter, to School administration. In addition,miscellaneous repair and maintenance of school building was also addressed. Total costof Civic Action Programme met with expenditure of Rs.1,50,000/-.
A day before, on 1st Nov, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM, in an another Civic Action Programme cumMedical Camp, medicines amounting to Rs.1,00,000/- were distributed to the border population in the area of responsibility of BOP K K Nagar, 145 Bn BSF.
The Medical camp was organised atDadasShraniVidyalaya ground,KalikrishanNagar, under administrative supervision of ShriBrajesh Kumar, DIG BSF Sector Gokulnagar, with active participation of BSF & Civil Doctors. Total 280 local patients were attended for ailments andprovided required medicines free of cost to the benefit of local population.
