The culture and tradition of the state is diverse. And within this cultural diversity can be found the unity of the caste people of the state.
Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha said this while addressing the chief guest at the Kavyalok anniversary function at Maharani Tulsivati School premises on Saturday evening.
The Department of Information and Cultural Affairs and Purvanchal Culture Center have cooperated to organise the Borsho Boron (celebration ceremony of the new year).
The Chief Minister wished the people of the state Bengali New Year on this day.
He said, “It is customary to welcome the new while keeping the old as a witness. The effort taken by Kavyalok to highlight the art and culture of Tripura through this program is surely a matter of joy. The state government is also working to promote the culture of the state.”
He added that in this regard, the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs works throughout the year to promote the mixed culture of the caste people of the state.
The Chief Minister said that the present state government is working seriously to implement the slogan of drug-free Tripura. CM called for the full cooperation of the people of the state in this work.
