A review meeting was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on the conservation and management of Rudrasagar in Melaghar under South Tripura district.
MLA Kishore Barman, Chief Secretary J. K. Sinha, Advocate General Siddhartha Shankar Dey, Director General of State Police Amitabha Ranjan, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests K. S. Shetty, Chief Secretary and secretaries of various departments, lawyer Indrajit Chakraborty, representatives of Rudijala Refugee Fishermen Cooperative Society were present in the meeting.
In the review meeting, proper management of Rudrasagar and maintaining the beauty of Neermahal was given the highest priority.
He said that it is also necessary to ensure that there is no problem in the livelihood of the people around the Rudrasagar area because various agricultural products reach different parts of the state from the Rudusagar area of Melaghar.
