A vital blood center was inaugurated at Teliamura sub-district hospital on Wednesday.
The center was inaugurated in the presence of the Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha.
Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly Kalyani Roy, 29 Krishnapur Assembly Constituency MLA Dr. Atul Debbarma, Teliamura Municipal Corporation’s Mayor Rupak Sarkar, State Health Secretary Dr. Debashish Basu, State Health Officer Dr. Subhashis Debbarma, Khowai District Police Officer Bhanupada Chakraborty and many other guests were present on this occasion.
Apart from this inauguration ceremony, on this day about 25 youth voluntarily came to this newly established blood center and donated blood.
After inaugurating the blood centre, the Chief Minister reviewed the overall services of the hospital.
He openly discussed various matters with the patients in the hospital.
Later, the Chief Minister discussed various issues of the hospital. He also discussed with everyone how to modernize the hospital.
From Teliamura sub-division hospital, the Chief Minister went to Teliamura town hall, where main function was held.
Inaugural and Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the state government is working to improve sub centers including hospitals.
CM said that the introduction of OT in Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital is being considered very seriously.
However, there are some obstacles in launching it. He also said that there are many problems in the hospital which will be eliminated with necessary measures.
Hospital staff and local citizens attended the event.
