After the launch of ‘CM Helpline-1905’ service, there has been a huge response from the people of Tripura.
According to the statistics of various calls received from the IT department on this number 1095, so far a total of 2334 calls have been received on this number.
Of these, 726 calls have been registered to take necessary action. In addition, 1262 emergency calls have been sent to the Emergency Response Support System for immediate action.
The call received has been sent to the concerned department for taking effective action depending on the subject matter, said Suprakash Jamatia, Joint-Director, Information Technology Department.
It may be mentioned that on September 8, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb launched a state-wide civic service through this helpline.
According to the Information Technology Department, 531 calls were received on the day of the launch of this service.
The CM Helpline 1905 has been set up for the purpose of making it easier for the people to express their grievances, suggestions and opinions to the administration.
On August 15, 2021, the first pilot project BASIS 1905 was launched in Dhalai district of the state.
The CM helpline was launched on September 8 across the state due to the overwhelming response from the people.
