“The central and state governments are implementing various schemes for the overall development of the people of the tribal sections of the state.
People need to be made more aware about the projects. Only then people will be able to take advantage of these projects properly.”
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this in the Tribal Welfare Department’s review meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
He said, “The Prime Minister is very sincere toward the overall development of tribals. The current state government is also implementing various programs for the development of the tribal the people and tribal areas.”
The Chief Minister emphasised that publicity should be placed to bring those programs to the common people and asked to coordinate with the Information and Cultural Affairs Department for this.
He said that the more common people are aware of the public welfare projects of the government, the more projects will be properly implemented.
CM advised the officials of the office to take initiative in this regard. In the review meeting, Chief Secretary J K Sinha said to the officials of the department, “The various projects of the department should be properly connected.
