CM inaugurates newly built rice godown and farmers knowledge centre at Takarjala

Various schemes are being implemented by the central and state governments for the development of agriculture in the state.

Along with the development of agriculture, multifaceted programs have also been taken for the welfare of farmers. Improved infrastructure is also being developed for the welfare of farmers in the rural areas of the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the newly constructed 1,000 metric ton capacity rice warehouse and the newly constructed Krishak Gyanarjan Kendra (Farmer Knowledge Center) at Takarjala in Sepahijala District on Tuesday.

Notably, 1 crore 18 lakh rupees have been spent on the construction of the rice warehouse in the rural infrastructure development project of NABARD and 59 lakhs has been spent on the construction of the Krishak Gyanarjan Kendra under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikash Yojana.
