CM inaugurates trauma centre at South Tripura District Hospital, Santirbazar

The overall development of the state is the aim of the government. The government is working on specific plans for infrastructure development in the fields of medicine, education, sports, agriculture, and communication.

Through the successful implementation of the Prati Ghare Sushasan (Good Governance in each house) campaign, the benefits of Prati Ghore Sushason have reached the last person of the society.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the newly constructed building of Trauma Care Center in South Tripura District Hospital in Shantirbazar on Saturday.

He said, “the highest development of a hospital in terms of development standards is the establishment of a trauma care center. How advanced a hospital is can be understood by its trauma care center because in this center the seriously injured need to be treated very quickly. It is a center for saving lives”.

CM also said that infrastructural development is being done by setting up advanced medical services and trauma care centers in district hospitals to reduce patient pressure in state referral hospitals.

The Chief Minister emphasized on maintaining adequate blood supply in trauma care centers.
