Education is one of the priority areas of the state government. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said it while laying the foundation stone for the construction of new building and additional classrooms of Arundhatinagar Class XII School (Vidyajyoti) in Agartala on Friday to extend quality education in all townships of the state.
He added, ‘Infrastructural development is very important for school reading as proper problems are faced in schools. Proper use of technology is possible if schools have proper infrastructure, which increases the acceptance of education among students”.
The Chief Minister said that the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created the National Education Policy for the people with the opinion of all, which will be far-reaching in the coming days.
Addressing the teachers, the Chief Minister said, “Nowadays, students are quite advanced in the technical field. Therefore, the teachers should be prepared for the traditional teaching as well as the latest topics that are involved in modern education and should emphasize on teaching in the school”.
