CM Manik Saha inaugurates newly built Shishu Griha at Ampura

Children are the future of tomorrow.
They should be developed as good citizens of tomorrow. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said this while inaugurating a newly constructed nursery for tribal children (boys) at Ampura in Khowai district on Thursday.

It is to be noted that this Shishu Griho has been constructed under the initiative of the Social Welfare and Social Education Department. Chief whip MLA Kalyani Roy, MLA Prashanta Debbarma and various other guests visited the newly constructed Shishu Griho after the opening ceremony.

During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with the residents of the home.
CM said that the department should take necessary measures so that the residents of the children’s home can play sports.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister also inquired from the children about their favorite sports.
