CM Manik Saha inaugurates Sharad Samman 2022 of AMC

The government has made a sincere effort to take this current trend forward. We have been able to retain the tradition of Agartala.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the Sharad Samman 2022 function organized by Agartala Municipal Corporation at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan on Friday evening.

51 wards of Agartala were divided into four zones among which 21 clubs were awarded for best idols, best pandals, best lighting and best theme puja this year.

Besides, awards are also given for the best Durga Puja conducted by women.
Addressing the representatives of various clubs, Chief Minister said , “We want parents to come forward in various social activities.

At present only women are organizing Sharad Utsav. Women are working shoulder to shoulder in various development works It shows the wind of change”. CM also thanked various clubs of Agartala.
