The present government is working for the development of the people of all parts of the state. With the slogan ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’, implementation of various public welfare programs is progressing in the state.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said this while laying the foundation stone of a 100-bed girls hostel for tribal girls at Sabroom Class XII School on Thursday.
Chief Minister also inaugurated the canteen of Veenapani self-help group in this school.
CM said, “The current state government is working on the highest priority to improve the standard of living of the people. All-out efforts have been taken to ensure that the benefits of various government schemes reach the people door-to-door.”
He added that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is working to make Tripura a front-line state in India.
Seeking the cooperation of people from all sections, the Chief Minister said that Tripura’s performance in various fields, starting from education, is getting praise in the country.
He added that various initiatives have been taken in the field of education so that the children of Tripura can compete in the all-India field.
The Chief Minister said, “The state government has taken special initiatives to advance women in various fields. 33 percent seats are reserved for them in government jobs. The number of self-help groups has been greatly increased with the aim of making women financially self-reliant.”
