CM opens three day Chintan Shibir

Aiming to prepare a credible roadmap for making Tripura a developed state by next three years, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb yesterday inaugurated a three-day Chintan Shibir at Pranja Bhavan .

During three day discissions experts will focus on development releated issues, challenges and policies brain storming sessions will help to cement several proposals and plans mooted by the experts.

NITI Aayog member Dr. Ramgopal Agarwala, Secretary of North Eastern Council (NEC) Ram Muivah and senior state government officials joined the brain storming session.

While speaking on the inaugural function, the Chief Minister highlighted Narendra Modi’s efforts to make the Northeast region as Ashta Laxmi by boosting connectivity and communication.
 
“In the past four and half years, the Centre has invested Rs. 50,000 for infrastructure development in Northeast region and the investment is focused on strengthening connectivity and communication”, he said.

“It was Narendra Modi who made compulsory for union ministers to stay at Northeast and report him about their visit or stay there. It has a tremendous impact on the overall development of the region”, he said.
Deb said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the mindset of the people as he did a lot to usher in developmental activities in the region. I hope the three-day session will throw out a road map for all-round development activities in the state”
