On Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha reviewed the preparations for the Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s upcoming visit on 5th January.
Home Minister Shah will flag-off off the Rath Yatra (Jan Viswas Yatra) in North Tripura and South Tripura districts. Shah is scheduled to visit two separate locations in these two districts and address two public rallies.
BJP state general secretary Tinky Roy accompanied the Chief Minister and inspected both the venues on Monday as well as reviewed the preparations including security arrangements.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and MLA Sankar Roy accompanied during his visit to Melar Math in Sabroom sub-division in South Tripura.
All units of BJP are gearing up to make the Tripura visit of Amit Shah successful, in the view of the upcoming assembly elections.
The Chief Minister also inspected the under construction Rath.
The Ratha Yatra from both South Tripura and North Tripura will touch 30 assembly constituencies each.
BJP national president J. P. Nadda is also likely to visit the poll-bound northeastern state on January 12.
