CM, senior BJP leaders and MLAs addressed a huge rally at Mizoram for upcoming assembly polls.
Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb , preceded by minister Santana Chakma and party MLAs Shambhulal Chakma and Pramod Reang have left for Mizoram to campaign in the Assembly Elections there. In the forty member Mizoram state assembly there are at least five seats which are dominated by Reang and Chakma community voters and the leaders from Tripura, specially the chief minister will be in charge of winning all these five seats from Congress for BJP , as assigned by the party’s leadership .
Chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb addressed a mass rally in along with Santana Chakma and Shambhu Lal Chakma tomorrow in Kamalanagar , headquarter of the Chakma district council.
The rally will also be addressed by BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav and northeastern organizational in charge Ajay Jambwal . Tripura BJP general secretary Pratima Bhowmik who is already camping in Mizoram said that traditionally Congress was strong in the five seats dominated by Chakma and Reang tribesmen but this time the tide has changed and BJP is likely to win all five seats to set a foothold in Mizoram , the lone state in northeast where the party is yet to have legislative presence.
