Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb called upon the local clubs across the state to come forward to help state government implement its policies and achieve the development targets.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar urged club, Durga puja organizers to respect the sentiments of people and should avoid any kind forceful collections of puja subscriptions.
Addressing a meeting with the club authorities at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan yesterday where hundreds of club and ‘Sangha’ authorities from different parts of the state gathered to participate in the discussion meeting on maintenance of law and order during puja days. Deb appealed to all to maintain the law and order for peaceful celebration of Durga Puja.
The state government has envisaged plans to develop the state within next three years and to fulfill the dream of the state government, the club and ‘Sangha’ authorities have play a vital role to achieve the target, said Deb
“Our government working on drug-free state and make the youth generation of state as perfect asset of the country”, said Deb adding that every clubs knows their locality better than police and they can provide their strong participation to abolish the drug menace from Tripura.
