Congress begins door-to-door campaign in Banamalipur

The state government will be formed under the leadership of the Congress after winning the upcoming assembly elections.

Former Pradesh Congress President Gopal Chandra Roy made this claim while conducting a roadshow in Ward No. 1 of Banamalipur Assembly Constituency on Friday.

He added that BJP will not get even one seat in the upcoming assembly elections. While talking with reporters during the roadshow, the former Congress president said that the democracy-loving people of the state will not bring a party like BJP back to power.

Gopal Chandra Roy further claimed that people will exercise their voting rights to bring the Congress party to power in the upcoming assembly election.

He mentioned that people of all sections were deprived, neglected and humiliated during the tenure of the BJP government.
