CPM rally attacked at Belonia, tension
‘Attack’ on a CPI(M) backed rally demanding resignation of Defence Minister Nirmala Sitaraman and probe by Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) into the alleged scam in Rafale deal.
Although police denied any injury, CPI (M) claimed three of their leaders- CPI(M) South Tripura district secretary Tapas Dutta, former MLA Basudeb Majumder and Parikshit Murasingh were injured in the attack.
As part the CPI(M) state committee decision, the local party leaders today took out a rally seeking resignation of Defence Minister Nirmala Sitaraman and probe by Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) into the alleged scam in Rafale deal.
