Top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party are visiting Tripura and addressing public meetings and holding rallies to re-establish the BJP government in upcoming Tripura elections.
Defense Minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh arrived at Agartala on Tuesday and addressed BJP’s ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rallies in West Tripura and Unakoti districts.
While addressing the gathering, he said that ever since the BJP government came, electricity has reached every village in Tripura.
Rajnath Singh further said, “People used to say that BJP is zero in Tripura and CPIM is everything, but in 2018 people made BJP from zero to hero”.
Singh appealed people to vote for BJP candidates in the upcoming assembly election.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited Tripura on Tuesday and addressed public meetings in Kalyanpur and Bagabasa constituencies.
Earlier on Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also visited Tripura and appraised the people about the works of the BJP government in Tripura.
