Tripura Dengue condition is not worrisome.
As few cases of Dengue have been registered presently in some areas of the state, there is a developing fear and myth started growing in the minds of common people.
On Wednesday evening, The Family Welfare and Disease Prevention Department has given status update by calling a press meet.
In the press meet, Radha Debbarma, a department official has requested the people of Tripura to not worry and be relaxed as there is nothing to worry.
She stated that the present situation is under full control. “A total of 255 infected people across the state have been traced and sent for complete medical diagnosis and treatment. Moreover, our hospitals and PHCs are well equipped with modern medical amenties. We have enough kits, medicine and surgicals in our hospitals. Nothing to worry; we are fully prepared to fight and tackle any spread of Dengue”, Said Mrs. Radha Debbarma in her statement.
She also added to not spread myth and fake news on social media regarding the Dengue spread and to cooperate with the department as well as the government.
The Disease Surveillance Officer further stated that Gomati and Unakoti are the districts that have reported the highest number of dengue cases. The test positivity rate has been recorded at 24.24%.
