Dengue surge in Tripura continues; Govt urges public to stay vigilant

Recently there has been an outbreak of dengue in Sepahijala district of Tripura. The outbreak of dengue and malaria occurred in several places, namely Dhanpur, Takarjala, Jampuijala, and Bishalgarh of the district as per Source.

In this situation, the district health department have been taken several steps to reduce the spread of mosquitoes so that the outbreak can be contained.

Mosquito larva-eating Gambusia fish were released in the water drains and sewers of different areas of Bishalgarh on Friday.

Bishalgarh MLA Sushanta Deb, District Chief Health Officer Dr. Debashish Das, Sub-Divisional Health Officer Dr. Jyotirmoy Das and others were present.
