Deputy CM inaugurates 132 KV Ambassa-Gandatwisa transmission line

The government has given highest priority to the development of electricity services in populated areas. The government is working on specific plans to develop communication systems and provide electricity services to populated areas.

Electricity services in the tribally populated Gandatuisa sub-division have improved significantly since the present government came to power. Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Power Department Jishnu Debbarma said this while inaugurating the 132 KV Ambasa Gondatuisa transmission line in Gondatuisa subdivision today.

Moreover, the Deputy Chief Minister also inaugurated the capacity enhancement and expansion of 33 KV Gondatuisa substation and the capacity enhancement and expansion of 132 KV Ambasa substation in Gondatuisa sub-division.

These three power projects have been implemented with the financial assistance of the North Eastern Zone Council of the Government of India and the World Bank.

In his tweet Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma Said, “Inauguration of the much awaited tower line from Ambasa to Gondatwisa. The line could not be completed for 14 years and the project was canceled by NEC but after this Govt came it was revived and completed in 4years 8 months. It will benefit more than 12667 people. Also inaugurated augementation of two sub stations in Ambasa and Gondatwisa. Value of inaugurated power projects today Rs46.90 crores. To benefit 52328 consumers”.

Earlier Rd Div 12 now 18

Earlier total engineering post 373 Now 674
All this is to make Rural Development more speedy and accessible to the rural masses”.

He added, “Rs 10 crore sanction to Dumburnagar Lake to make it one of the best Tourist Attractions in NE region”.
