Dharmanagar: Over 200 voters left Opposition, join BJP

CPIM and Congress faced a breakdown in Dharmanagar as around 200 voters left CPM and Congress and joined the BJP. A public meeting and BJP joining meeting was held below the Netaji statue at Dharmanagar on Monday.

Dharmanagar MLA and State Assembly Speaker Bishwabandhu Sen along with Dharmanagar Municipal Council Chairperson Pradyut De Sarkar, BJP Dharmanagar Mandal Committee President Shyamal Kanti Nath, party district president Vikas Sharma and others were present.

Speaking on this day, Dharmanagar MLA and State Assembly Speaker Bishwabandhu Sen strongly criticized CPIM and Congress.

About 200 voters left the CPIM and Congress parties and joined the BJP in this public meeting and joining meeting.

Dharmanagar MLA and State Assembly Speaker Vishwabandhu Sen welcomed them to the party.
