Diwali festival to be celebrated on 4th & 5th November in Tripurasundari temple
Diwali festival is going to be celebrated in the premises of Tripurasundari temple, Matabari on 4th and 5th November.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb will be officially inaugurating the Mela on 4th November, informed Gomati District Magistrate Ravel Hemendra Kumar in a press conference held on 31 October in the premises of Tripurasundari temple.
He also informed that total 650 stalls will be sitting during the fest. Local and artiste from other states will be performing in the cultural programme. Exhibition stalls of different departments will be open.
LED screens will be arranged for direct pilgrims have to have glimpse of the Mela from far away. 6th Tripureshwari Dance Music Festival has commenced today.
Arrangements have been made to avoid unpleasant mishaps during the Mela.
Mela Committee Chairman and MLA Biplab Kumar Ghosh and Gomati Zila Parishad Sabhadhipati Swapan Adhikari urged for everyone’s cooperation for the smooth conduction of the Mela. District Police Superintendent Shaswat Kumar, Mata Tripurasundari Trust OSD Bhaskar Das Gupta, SDM Anirudh Roy, ICA Assistant Director Manoj Debbarma were also present in the press conference.
