Donating blood is a noble deed: YAS Minister

One can save another person’s life by donating blood. There is no alternative for blood.

Donating blood is a noble deed, enunciated Youth Affairs & Sports Minister Tinku Roy at the mega blood donation camp organized with the initiative of Kailasahar SDM and Tripura Civil Service Association at Unakoti Kalakshetra yesterday. A total of 124 persons have donated blood at the blood donation camp. The Minister called upon everyone to come forward to voluntarily donate blood. Vice-Chairperson of Kailasahar Municipal Council Nitish Dey, Unakoti DM Dr. Vishal Kumar and Kailasahar SDM Pradip Sarkar also spoke on the occasion. Welcome speech was

delivered by Additional DM Satyabrata Nath. Others present in the blood donation camp were Sabhadhipati of Unakoti Zila Parishad Amalendu Das. Sahakari Sabhadhipati Shyamal Das. Chairperson of Kailasahar Municipal Council Chapala Debroy, Additional DM Sushanta Kumar Sarkar, BDOs of Gouranagar and Chandipur blocks including officials of different departments. Members of Kailasahar Lions Club, Venus Club. Skylark Club and Kailasahar Blood Donor’s Association have donated their blood in the blood donation camp.
