92th Founder’s Day of Dharmapal Satyapal Group was celebrated at South Gakulnagar village of Khowai District, Tripura State on 14 August 2021.
The programme was organized by DISHARI a local NGO of Belonia. Mr. Atul Dev Barman, MLA of Teliamura was the chief guest on this occasion.
CSR representatives of DS Group Mr. Subhodeep Mukharjee and Neeraj Prajapati were also present in the programme on this occasion. Providing the details of programme, Mr Kamal Kanti Banik, Chief Executive of Dishari said that on the occasion of DS Group founder’s day we organized closing ceremoney of Rubber Tappers Training Programme at village South Gakulnagar Total 25 trainees from different age group were provided certificates for successful completion of training.
Mr. Atul Dev Barman, said that there is strong need of this type of training programme in tribal area of Tripura. This is the need of hour and we should understand the importance of skill in our life and our livelihood.
Mr Subhodeep Mukharjee from DS CSR said that, Tripura has second highest rubber plantation in India after Karla but due to absence of scientific tapping process it’s not able to meet the desired rubber production and often leads to shorten the life of rubber plant and low income as well.
Keeping this on prime need, DS Group CSR supported a project named as Rubber Tappers Training Programme last year.
Around 500 trainees has been trained in this trade till now and all the trainees are able to increase their income after learning the tapping and processing techniques.
At the end, Neeraj Prajapati from DS CSR thanked all the participants and guest for making the programme successful.
