Dy. CM inaugurated new building of District Agriculture office

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated Common Facility Centre with Tripura Water Filter Candle Manufacturing unit through Scientific process at Chesrimai of Charilam Constituency .

The filtered water went through various tests at State DWS Laboratory and its efficiency is much higher than the conventional ones with better filtration and balanced pH. 5000 units of filters will be distributed to rural areas affected by waterborne diseases.

A Women technology park was also inaugurated where the eco friendly Bioleaf cup plate manufacturing unit has been set up.

Another Bio Composition unit is scheduled to be set up at the same park very soon, 2 units sanctioned by the Govt. Of India under the Department of Science and Technology .

He also inaugurated Newly constructed Agriculture and Mushroom Seed Production and Laboratory Center at Bishramganj, Sephaijala District under the department of Agriculture Govt of Tripura.

The mushroom seed production centre will cater to Bisramganj and adjoining areas. It will help in encouraging mushroom cultivation with easy availability of seeds, cultivators will not be required to come to Agartala for mushroom seeds.

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma said We are committed to developing the Agri Sector and to fulfil the vision of Hon. PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji in doubling the farmer’s income by 2022.
