Dy CM Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated a newly constructed 33 KV Sub-Station at Simna today

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated a newly constructed 33 KV Sub-Station at Simna today. Construction started June 2018.

This is this the 8th sub station inaugurated by Dec 2021 34 substation to provide stable power.

The project comes under the scheme of NER Power System Improvement Project (NERPSIP) funded by the Government of India and the World Bank.

This 33/11 KV, 2 x 5 MVA sub-station at Simna has been constructed to provide a steady and quality power supply in Simna and its adjoining areas.

The newly constructed 33 KV sub-station has been connected with the existing 33 KV Hezamara sub-station by the new 33 KV line.

This new sub-station will adequately meet up with the present and corresponding future load growth of the area and will benefit around 3,855 consumers with improved voltage profile and enhanced power system reliability in the area.

After inaugurating the 33KV Power Sub-Station at Simna,Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma visited the Mass Vaccination drive camp being held in Meghliband and Simna health and wellness centres.

In his tweet he wrote “I believe under the visionary leadership of Hon. PM Narendra Modi Ji we shall overcome this crisis soon and I urge everyone to come forward and take the Vaccine”.
